This summer, we want to encourage our congregation to engage in a deeper study of the Bible. Toward that end, we are working with the Flourish Center at Baptist Seminary of Kentucky to offer the Introduction to the Bible course to our members and guests as a home-based study. Here’s how it works:

1. Sign up for the course on this page. This will enable us to arrange your access to the course videos.
2. Find at least 2 other people (they don’t have to be church members) who will covenant with you to participate by meeting for an hour a week for 6 weeks. This meeting can take place at any time, and is used for the purposes of discussing the session videos.
3. Between sessions, watch the videos, taking whatever notes or listing whatever questions you have in order to bring them to the conversation.
4. Share feedback about the sessions by sending an email to flourish@bsk.edu.

As a part of the course, any groups that sign up can also arrange for Steve Lakes (who attended the original training for this material) or David Adams (who is also the Director of the Flourish Center) to participate in one or more conversation sessions, as time allows.

Please note that this normally a “for pay” course that is being offered to the members of Living Faith Church for free. Any group of people is welcome to participate, but groups not connected to in-person members of the congregation may be encouraged to go to flourish.bsk.edu and sign up for the course with other members of the general public. If you have questions about this program, please contact us.
