This summer, we want to encourage our congregation to engage in developing their personal discipleship. Toward that end, we are starting regular meetings to discuss the works of Phillip Gully, starting with the book Front Porch Tales. Here’s how it works:
- Sign up for the course on this page.
- Share with us the best and worst times to meet, either in person or online.
- Obtain a copy of the book, and do the recommended readings between sessions so you are prepared to talk about them. Note: This is very entertaining material and we might rapidly read through the books, so you need to pay attention to the agreed-on readings each week.
- Share feedback about the sessions by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org,
As a part of the course, any groups that sign up can also arrange for Steve Lakes or David Adams to participate in one or more conversation sessions, as time allows.
Any group of people is welcome to participate, and you are highly encouraged to bring guests and talk about this program with your friends. If you have questions, please contact us.
